I sometimes saw the woman and her pets outside taking care of chores and whatnot. Then one day, I saw the damage that the fire had done to the house. Not long after, the house was gone and the land was leveled. I had always wondered what happened to the woman in the house, and I hoped she was doing well and regained her footing. I am saddened to hear about her passing, especially after reading about what a kindhearted person she was. I didn’t know her at all, but passing by her home every morning and every afternoon was a part of my routine. May she rest in peace.
